Carla Russo

While working for the Italian Embassy in London in the Political Section, Carla gained expertise on the UK-EU relations and foreign policy strategies with Russia, MENA, and Indo-pacific regions. Further, she helped prepare the Italian government officials' participation in the 2021 G7 ministerial meetings organised by the UK presidency and the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) in Glasgow. Prior to this, she worked at PfEU - a Path for Europe, a European Think Tank based in Berlin where she drafted policy briefs on the EU Circular Economy. She was recently chosen to take part in the Young Faces 2022 program in Cybersecurity Governance by DCAF - the Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance. Carla holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics with a specialization in Econometrics from University of York, and a Master’s degree in Culture and Conflict in a Global Europe from London School of Economics.
