Before rejoining Rud Pedersen, Kristina was the Deputy Managing Director of the Swedish Food Federation, the food industry’s business federation, where she led the team working with issues related to business competitiveness.

She specializes in Swedish and European legislative procedures and has many years of experience in, as well as a deep understanding of, politics at the highest level, both in Sweden and in the EU.

Between 2010 and 2012, Kristina was a Member of the Cabinet of EU Commissioner Cecilia Malmström, where she was responsible for asylum, migration and integration policies. Prior to that, she was a political advisor for the Moderate Party at the Ministry of Justice.

Additionally, Kristina previously worked at the Legal Service of the European Parliament and as an advisor on Constitutional Affairs to the Moderate Party’s parliamentary office. She has been involved in three national election campaigns and in the referendum on Swedish accession to the Euro.

Kristina holds an LL M from the University of Uppsala, where she specialized in European Constitutional law and legislative procedures. She has studied Law and Political Science at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. Kristina is fluent in English and French.
