Ann-Christin Nykvist

Ann-Christin has gained extensive experience from her many positions in the public sector, both as a politician and civil servant. She was minister for Agriculture, Food, Fisheries and Consumer Affairs between 2002 – 2006. She was, for five years, State Secretary at the Ministries of Public Administration and Culture. She has also been appointed Director General three times by the Government, namely of the Swedish Competition Authority, the Swedish National Government Employee Pensions Board and the National Agency for Public Procurement. She has been engaged in several governmental committees and served as a member of boards in both the public and private sector. She participated in the deregulation of the pharmaceutical sector in Sweden and was a member of the Pharmacy Restructuring Company between 2008 – 2014.
