Kalina Angelova

Kalina has a background in digital and social policy, media, and communications. Prior to joining Rud Pedersen, she worked as a journalist for EURACTIV reporting on policy and political issues from the European institutions and from Bulgaria.  
Before that, Kalina gained valuable experience in European affairs and governance working at DG Employment at the European Commission. There she acquired first-hand knowledge of the European semester and the related Social pillar. At DG Communication, Kalina supported the team in the field of public procurement and cooperated with the European Parliament. 

She has experience in the private sector monitoring legislative and policy developments in the digital area at EU level and has also supported the Defence and the Corporate services units at the British Embassy, Sofia.  

Kalina holds a Master's degree in International Relations and European politics from the University of Bath, UK.
