Carl Samuelsen is a health economist and certified data scientist with experience from international roles in the pharmaceutical industry. He has extensive knowledge in clinical and health economic evidence generation and its intersect with public policy and decision-making.
During his time as a global health economics and outcomes research manager at Boehringer Ingelheim, Samuelsen managed global policy shaping and evidence generation projects spanning minister level interaction, real world evidence studies, clinical protocol development, evidence synthesis and international pricing research. Having worked both as a consultant for LINK Medical Research and as a market access manager for Boehringer Ingelheim in Norway, he has been involved in 20+ health technology appraisals submitted to Norwegian public agencies. Carl has extensive knowledge of the processes required to achieve reimbursed access in Norway and across the globe.
